Yesterday when I took the first step out of my house in the afternoon, I was surprised. I didn't recognize it started raining and the sun was shining as before. The air didn't cool down as usual when there's a thunderstorm coming. I walked through the city and the pavements sparkled beautifully. I breath in and I could feel the warm rain on my skin. The air was a little humid so I felt like being at a rainforest. And I could even smell the rain, taste its flavor.
People were sitting at street cafés, laughing and acting like nothing happened. Maybe they didn't even recognize that it started raining. They were sitting under trees and sunshades.
I continued my walk and the air became fresher. It stopped raining and the air was incredibly clean.
Later on, another thunderstorm came. There was a thunder you can't describe with words. Later on I was told that a lightning hit a electric station or something.
I just love summer rain.
